SWIMWEAR STATE SALES MANAGER

We are seeking a State Territory Sales Manager to control all of the Queensland Sales for a high profile Swimwear and Accessories fashion house. You will be required to service accounts from the northern rivers to FNQ. Previous experience in wholesale sales and a thorough knowledge of the sports market is preferred.

1. The Role

• Responsibility for managing an existing account base within your territory.
• Responsibility for developing and achieving the sales budget within your territory.
• Explore new business opportunities
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets/budgets and achieving sales success.

2. Position in organisation

• Reports to Sales Manager

3. Description of job holder

• Previous sales experience in a similar role is preferable
• Well presented and confident
• Excellent communicator, written and oral
• Be able to drive sales, self managed with the ability to work autonomously
• A team player
• Excellent time management and organisational skills are a must
• A strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
• Proficient on Microsoft Office

4. Duties

• Maintain up to date information with the sales database
• Provide daily sales reports
• Work to planned call schedules

5. General Requirements

• Travel away from home for a period of time (I.e. country area trips)
• Occasional weekend work is expected in order to fulfil the role
• Attend targeted conferences, Expo’s, events
• Current drivers license with a good driving record is essential and must be an Australian citizen

Salary $50K +comm($30-40K)+super+car allowance
