This is a special and unique IT opportunity. Our client is looking for an IT professional with solid experience and sound working knowledge of 'APPAREL 21' software, including its application in the garments industry, either wholesale or retail.

This is not a basic IT job. It requires extensive input and knowledge of creating workbooks, and the ability to implement to more than 30 users in Australia and China.

The position suits a smart, enthusiastic, customer service focused individual with experience in business applications, who is looking for a long term career position in a growing business. This could also be contract-based. Assistance for relocation will be available to the right Applicant.

To be successful you must have actual experience with Apparel 21 software, have excellent written and spoken English, as well as strong commercial IT skills and problem-solving ability. There must be a clear record of positive cooperation with fellow staff.

Candidates will have an advantage if able to show these skills:
* An understanding of how clothing labels operate and how they use business management software.
* Working knowledge of ERP software.
* Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or Accountancy.
* An understanding and ability to write or modify SQL queries (oracle based)
* Fashion / Garment industry experience.
* Mandarin speaking would be a bonus.

A rewarding package will be created for the right applicant with base salary in the range $60-75,000. Our clint's preference is for a permanent position but we will consider a contract term.

A SCHOOLWEAR MANUFACTURER AND SUPPLIER of high quality product to both retail and schools seeks fabric expert, who knows how to manage and test and oversee all fabrics purchased and tested in various countries including Bangladesh, Fiji, China and Taiwan.

You will test colour fasting, weave, make up swatch cards, follow up and ensure fabric testing is accurate. You will co-ordinate price, booking, delivery and approval of fabrics, manage customer returns and new fabric developments. Supervise 2 staff.

This position is PERTH BASED and this company is willing to relocate the right candidate. YOU WILL HAVE excellent QUALIFICATIONS. Candidates from overseas will be considered.

SALARY $45-50K+SUPER
