Position Purpose

Reporting to the Production Manager, your primary role will be in ensuring the timely delivery of all locally produced orders, ensuring high standards of quality both in house and outsourced through key suppliers. You will oversee all production tasks relating to the embellishment of our in-house Essentials range as well as coordinate local sublimation printing in house and sewing through local makers.
















Individual accountabilities

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

•         Ownership of our Stock WIP (order log) to understand fully the status of all orders and the requirements to meet deliveries on time.

•         Coordinate daily tasks and workload to direct reports to ensure timely deliveries.

•         Review and determine appropriate suppliers for orders as they arise.

•         Maintain clear and regular communication on the status of orders to key stakeholders.

•         Liaise regularly with suppliers and build strong positive working relationships to ensure a consistent and regular workload.

•         Coordinate samples for rep/agent approval. Ensure timely creation and delivery of samples.

•         Ordering of transfers for both in-house and offshore use. Quality control of transfers to ensure consistency across orders.

•         Maintain up to date records of approvals and archive transfers and stitch-outs for future reference.

•         Maintain inventory levels of embellishments for key customers.

•         Create purchase orders and gather approved placements sheets to accompany orders to be sent to suppliers.

•         Reconcile supplier paperwork for accounts payable.

•         Liaise with Graphics team for all pending local sublimation jobs and allocate workload accordingly for the week ahead.

•         Oversee printing and cutting requirements for all local sublimation jobs.

•         Coordinate and allocate workload to local makers/sewers.

•         Coordinate with warehouse staff to help streamline stock holding and accessibility of orders for embellishment.

•         Coordinate with warehouse staff on orders ready for dispatch.

Measures of success •      Reporting of forward Demand (value and capacity) and EMB output daily, weekly and MTD.




•       Setting up goals & planning steps required to achieve it by effectively implementing the plan. Eg:- Exploring all avenues to try & meet delivery deadlines even though they can sometimes be a struggle to get over the line.








Skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, you will have;

•       Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a proven record to coordinate a small team to successful outcomes.

•       Sound knowledge of garment construction and an understanding of embroidery and plastisol application process.

•       A strong sense of initiative with exceptional time management skills.

•       A thirst for high pressure situations with an ability to prioritize conflicting demands and adapt to meet regularly changing needs.

•       A desire to work collaboratively with others.


Additional skills;

•       Knowledge of Wilcom Embroidery preferred, but not essential.
