Job Description

Our client is based in Abbotsford and can provide parking. They are seeking an EXPERIENCED candidate.

FASHION EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

The role is responsible for managing all aspects of logistics operations and stock control within the business. This person will coordinate with internal departments, offshore suppliers and third party logistics partners to ensure delivery on time in full (DOTIF) of finished goods. This person will also ensure optimum inventory levels by identifying shortages and overstocks as well as stock accuracy when of receipted goods into warehouse.

 

Management of ERP system, B2B platform and other platforms

  • Maintain accurate records and across internal ERP system,B2B and 3PL platforms.
  • Management of automation and system integrations
  • ERP training for internal staff as required.

This person will also ensure optimum inventory levels by identifying shortages and overstocks as well as stock accuracy when of receipted goods into warehouse.

Stock Control/ Inventory Management

  • General stock reporting e.g. stock on hand, sell through, etc.
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory in alignment with sales and marketing strategy e.g. identifying shortages, overstocks, etc.
  • Conducting stocktake as required.

 

Logistics

  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and 3PL providers in the prep aration of export shipments and relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate deliveries of finished goods from offshore supplier base in China to local and international 3PL’s, and direct to customer.
  • Monitor shipment progress by to ensure on time delivery and communicate any shipment delays.
  • Asist other departments with domestics and international order processing and logistics requests.
  • Work alongside sales and marketing to assist in any logistics or fulfilment related support for e-commerce/retail channels.
  • Review and approve freight invoices ensuring they are consistent with agreed rates.
  • Source and negotiate rates or contracts with third party logistics providers to ensure competitive pricing
  • Ensure all relevant legal, regulatory or internal processes are followed concerned with logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with customer delivery requirements as per vendor manuals and routing guide.

Desired Skills

  • Analytical skills, including ability to work with large data sets and advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of international logistics practices and trends, including incoterms
  • ERP experience
  • High attention to details and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication skills and problem solving skills
  • Familiar with customer vendor portals (Tradestone)
  • Familiar with 3PL portals (3PL Central)

SALARY $80K+SUPER
