Key Responsibilities 

  • Clear communication with off-shore suppliers

 

  • Fabric Lab dips & Bulk approvals
    • Take information from tracker and chase submissions (including ETA Dates)
    • Check & Comment on lab dips with guidance from designers if needed.
    • Check and comment on all Bulk Approvals with guidance from designer if needed. (including power testing)

 

  • Print approvals
    • Take information from tracker and chase submissions (including ETA Dates)
    • Working with graphic artist and designers to check all print artwork against
    • Chase all durability & wash testing from factories or suppliers and comment on results.

 

  • Compression fabric testing & approval
    • Understanding company’s compression fabric standard and guidelines
    • Conduct power & recovery testing on bulk fabrics using in-house testing facilities and machinery
    • Check and analyse results to ensure they align with client’s strict compression standards
    • Liaise with production team to communicate any failed results which are unacceptable.

 

  • Resolving any problems hitting timeline dates caused by rejected submissions. Flag delays with relevant Designer, and escalating to Design Manager when required.
    • Ensure awareness of approval dates to meet timelines, and the impact of approvals/rejections.

 

  • Attend WIP calls designers hold with suppliers when required.

 

  • Set up and run calls with suppliers to resolve any colour, printing or trims issues, including Designers when required.
