Job Description
Your purpose in this position: To support the pattern makers with style set up and admin-based tasks.

Style Preparation Accurately and efficiently setting up styles in AP-21 for the pattern makers to cross-check and add yields. Flagging to Design Room Managers and Design Room Coordinators if any Raw Material details are missing that will affect the Pattern Makers ability to complete a pack. Setting up yields for all components for the Pattern Makers to cross-check before adding to BOM.
SMS Preparation and Review Helping the Design Assistants put together SMS packs for sending out to off-shore factories. Q.C. of SMS samples on receipt from off-shore factories. Communicating any incorrect SMS details to relevant Pattern Makers ahead of fittings.
Measuring Specifications Measuring PPS samples to specification from off-shore factories. Recording all details accurately for Pattern Makers to review. Clearly highlighting any discrepancies between sample requested spec and actual sample measures.
Marker making Generating all markers for 1st sample and multiple sample cutting on completion of patterns by Pattern Makers.
General General assistance with all pattern maker tasks. Errands where required to assist the pattern room. Stock take of all regularly used fabrics with Sample Cutter to ensure all key fabrics are always available to cut.
