Purpose Statement

To oversee the quality system in place and to ensure Suzanne Grae fit and quality standards are achieved and quality issues are minimised.

To ensure consistent quality of garment construction and standard finishes are in place and fits are consistent and meet required standards.

Relationships

Reports To: Sourcing, QA & Production Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Direct Relationships: Buying Manager Buying Team Suppliers Head Office Teams

External Relationships: N/A

Ability to manage quality systems and procedures
Verbal and written communication skills
Planning and organisational skills
Ability to manage quality issues with stores and suppliers and keep appropriate documentation
Product critical path knowledge
Confident negotiation skills
Ability to manage sample critical path and report turn around and priorities
Ability to build strong supplier relationships and achieve high quality and product results
Knowledge to achieve best cost and delivery outcomes through quality systems
Competence in Office 365 programs including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Word and Excel

Our Values:

Experience & Relevant Education:

Experience in patternmaking and garment production
Understanding in garment grading and sizing
Experience and understanding in garment construction and finishing techniques
Experience in fabric and yarn quality and the ability to assess fabric testing reports (preferred but not essential)
Experience working with offshore factories and suppliers
Tertiary Qualification in Fashion or Clothing Manufacture (with garment construction, pattern making and textile technology units)
