Our client has the most incredible Accessories supplying both men’s and women’s young fashion nationally.  We are seeking an Account Manager for Sydney/NSW.

Account Manager

  • Plan, organize and prioritise sales territory.
  • Keep an organised, structured week with appointments made prior
  • Priority should be given to establish and secure indent orders.
  • Present the sample range to customers during each appointment ensuring samples are kept clean and presentable
  • Actively seek new business opportunities to achieve territory growth
  • Work closely with the sales team on scheduled business campaigns
  • Meet informally each month/quarter with the sales team.
  • Attend trade fairs when/if required. These do occur over weekends.

Manage sales

  • Making every effort to maximize both present and long-term sales and gross profits.
  • Keeping face-to-face contact with customers.

Maintain inventory control.

  • Review the entire inventory weekly; liaise with the Melbourne warehouse when necessary.
  • Create Customer Logs for review and territory management.
  • Review the Customer Log for trends that indicate where additional assistance might be needed.
  • Head office is based on Melbourne and is available to the successful candidate at all times for any assistance you may require … mail-outs, telemarketing, spreadsheet reporting, letter writing, marketing initiatives, appointment planning etc.
